COVID-19 PROTOCOLS &

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

COVID-19 UPDATE: The Manhattan office is open. The office is equipped with ventilation, UVC lights, sinks, hand sanitizers, PPE, and masks. All new patients will be required to fill out the intake form before their office treatment. All patients can book their appointments online, by phone, or email. 

Prior to your visit, we will contact patients to verify any recent or past onset of symptoms such as: 

  • Shortness of breath

  • Fever 

  • Chills 

  • Headache

  • Loss of smell or taste 

  • Muscle pain 

  • Sore throat

  • Cough 

If you have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19 or have tested positive for COVID-19, please do not come to your office session. We will provide virtual sessions and herbal consultation until you test negative for COVID-19. 

If you have traveled from out-of-state or international, we ask that you schedule an appointment no earlier than 14 days upon return. Strictly following any quarantine requirements as per local and state government guidelines. 

OFFICE PROCEDURES 

Staff members will be screened daily and will wear masks, gloves, and eye coverings. 

Please come to your appointment on time and alone. If you need to be accompanied please let us know in advance. 

Masks are required in all areas of the office. If you do not have one, we will provide one for you.

SCREENING 

All patients will be screened before entering the office. Your temperature will be taken using non-contact thermometers. Also, pulse and oxygen levels will be checked using a finger pulse-oximeter. 

If your temperature is 100.4°F or above and/ or pulse ox below 90mmHg, your appointment will need to be rescheduled once you have seen your primary physician. 

All patients are required to wash their hands upon arrival. Hand sanitizers are provided in the office. 

Please wear loose comfortable clothing for your acupuncture sessions. 

All appointments will require a credit card on file. The payment will be processed at the end of your treatment and a copy of your receipt will be emailed to you to limit contact as much as possible.

The safety of our patients and staff is our first priority. Practitioners and staff at our office are following the federal and local government guidelines for COVID-19 pertaining to maintaining a safe environment for patients and employees. We will be taking everyone's temperature before entering the office. Patients must wear their masks during visits to the clinic and wash hands at the sink upon arrival. In order to maintain social distancing only two patients are allowed in the waiting area at one time. The hallway will be utilized for others waiting (social distancing at 6 feet apart).
